About FaceDetective
FaceDetective is a face search and reverse image search tool operated under facedetective.io. It helps people check where their own face appears online and verify whether someone they talk to is who they claim to be.
How it works
Your photo is checked for a face directly in your browser. The image is then compared against publicly indexed images. Every result is a candidate, not a confirmed identity — you decide whether a match is really the same person.

Face matching is probabilistic. Similar-looking people, low-quality photos or edited images can produce false matches. Never accuse, contact or act against someone based on a match alone.
