1. Strictly necessary storage

These are required for the service to work and cannot be switched off within the app, because without them you cannot stay signed in or open your own reports.

• Authentication session: stores your signed-in session token so your account and reports stay accessible between page loads. Expires when the session expires or when you sign out.
• Security tokens: short-lived values used to protect requests against cross-site abuse.
• Interface preferences: small values such as your last used scan mode, stored locally in your browser.

2. Analytics and advertising

We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run cross-site ad tracking, and we do not sell browsing data. Where aggregate usage measurement is used, it is limited to counts and performance data that do not identify you individually.

3. Third-party storage

Our authentication, hosting and payment providers may set their own strictly necessary cookies when you sign in or pay. Result thumbnails are loaded from their original websites; those sites may see the request, which is why we send result images without a referrer.

4. How to control storage

• Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data in its privacy settings.
• Signing out clears your session token.
• Blocking necessary storage will prevent sign-in and will make saved reports inaccessible.

5. Changes

If we introduce any non-essential storage, we will update this page and, where the law requires, ask for your consent before setting it.
