What a good source photo looks like
Use the sharpest image you have, with the face turned towards the camera and both eyes visible. Crop tightly around the person if the photo shows a group — a smaller, clearer face beats a large, blurry one.

Can I really find a person from just one picture?
Often yes, if that person has public photos online. If they have no public presence, the scan will return few or no strong matches — which is itself useful information.
How long does it take?
