Reverse image searchWhat a face search engine does differently
Text search needs a name. Image search needs the exact file. A face search only needs a face: we build a mathematical signature from the facial landmarks in your photo and compare it with the signatures of millions of indexed public images, so the person can be found even when no name is attached to the picture.

One scan covers the places where faces are published publicly, grouped by source type so you can read the footprint instead of a flat link list.

Reading your similarity score
Above 90% is a very strong match and usually the same person. Between 75% and 90% is a likely match worth checking manually. Below 75% is a lookalike candidate. During the scan you can confirm or reject the first candidates, which sharpens how the remaining results are ranked.
Photo quality matters
Front-facing, well-lit photos with the whole face visible produce the best results. Heavy sunglasses, extreme angles, motion blur and strong filters remove the landmarks our model relies on. If your first scan returns weak matches, try a second, sharper photo.
Search your own face for privacy reasons
Most people run their first scan on themselves. The report shows which public photos, profiles and reposts are tied to your face, which is the starting point for every takedown or removal request. If you want to keep watching after the first scan, monitoring alerts you when a new match appears.
What a face search cannot do
We only read public sources. Private accounts, content behind a login, closed messengers and deleted pages are out of reach, and a face that has never been published publicly will not appear. A report is also not a background check: it must never be used for hiring, credit, insurance or housing decisions.

Can I search for a face online for free?
Yes, the scan and a preview of the matches are free. The complete report becomes a paid upgrade.
Will the person know I searched for their face?
No. We only read public sources and never contact or notify anyone whose face appears in a report.
Can I search my own face to protect my privacy?
That is one of the most common uses. Scanning your own face shows which public photos and profiles are linked to you, so you can request removals where you need to.
How accurate is a face search?
Accuracy depends on the source photo. A sharp, front-facing portrait usually produces matches above 90% similarity for the same person. Angles, filters, masks and low resolution lower the score and can hide real matches.
Does a face search work with old photos?
Yes. Facial geometry stays fairly stable over the years, so photos taken a decade apart often still match — though very young childhood pictures are unreliable.
What happens to my uploaded photo?
The face is detected on your device during the free scan, and your reports stay tied to your own account. We do not add your photo to a public index.
